I was watching that since I closed the last of my HGU this AM. Did not re-enter. Net net raised cash (been trimming since last week).. but did buy some Connacher oil ... are you ready for this... Debentures.. 10K face value for 3600 bucks so just a tiny flyer.. Yields 13%+... and gives me back 10K face value if the company doesn't go belly up :O)
Also added some ARE.TO Aecon Construction @ 9.02 (Infrastructure)
My yield producers are almost all up quite nicely... and mostly another 4 weeks to ex-div so if they start looking toppy I may raise more cash ... I road a lot of these down and now back up due to the yield.. but I'm having second thoughts of putting myself through that angst again :O)
BTW Frank, on gold.. the pop yesterday did not look like it had gusto.. (volume) ... certainly not like the volume you pointed out last week.. so that was the factor for me not getting back in..
