Actually kezzek, I disagree with several of your implications.

As an example, a number of the pumpers who bought into GTEL (now SNSR) did in fact convince their friends and family to buy that stock (some of those same pumpers are even here!). That stock has lost 99% of it's value over time, so they certainly have been hearing from said friends and family. However, that hasn't stopped any of them from continuing to pump and trying to convince anonymous MB'ers to buy, even now that it's trading at a few cents.
