It seems tough to sell, does anyone have any pointers how to trade at 5 digits on E-TrADE or TD? or is it the # of shares traded?

Not really, the ask would need to be .0003. When you set your limit price that's the most your willing to pay. Say the bid and ask is .0001x.0002 I'm pretty sure if you put an order to buy @ .0003 it would be filled @ .0002 at the ask. Same thing with .0001x.0001. I've tried it before to see if it would up stick. Didn't work, and was ticked bc I spent the commission to buy at the .0002 not .0003
