travel. go to israel. see sodom and gemorrah. learn about the water sources of jerusalem. then cross reference the bible.

you will likely find that "As far as I know, there is no evidence in the claims of the Judiac-Christian-Muslim religious books." is not correct

I am a man of science, and for my own moral reason, an agnostic. Having said that, and because I am a man of science, I know that "G-d" existence is not something that can be proved or disproved and I can rationalize based on scientific knowledge we have today most of the old testament accounts. I did that on this thread a while back relating to the seven days of creation.

Mind you, some of the most gifted scientists I have ever known, were deeply religious. They had no problems reconciling the old testament with science at all. They acknowledged the shortcoming of the human mind and the fact that all the beautiful scientific models we have developed of nature and the universe are just that, "models". Just look at our current "String theory", we have five independent models, which one really represents our universe? If we have five, do you really think there is any good reason that there really are 100 of these, and we just have not "uncovered" all of them?

Hello Mapleton,

I'am not going to do an "Ayn Rand" and ask you to "check your premises,"
for the simply reason that you have not built a structure to place upon
your posts, that this post of mine is a reply to.

As for world class scientist Zeev, yes he has attained his stature
using the methodology of science that allows one to locate and use
the stepping stones one needs to travel to reach a desired destination.

But Zeev is spinning his own wheels in the mud he created.

Zeev failed to halt the discussion until you constructed a foundation
where upon each element of your "teach critical thinking [in] schools"
can stand by itself and be knowned.

A "school" cannot "teach critical thinking" unless all data is available.
