Then I guess you are at odds with Clawmann's post and can freely take it up with him, yes? Clawmann he's all yours. Regarding ASM, they have not indicated anything to change their last public comment on it, so until they do, I believe its game on. Will you be in attendance? I most assuredly will.

jonesieatl: I have a strong feeling that this USPTO ruling changed everything. Time will tell (as always) but I did (as well as you) key in on these little details...

NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: NEOM),...announced the next shareholders’ conference call

Program Title: Quarterly Shareholder Conference Call

Being that the word "Annual" is nowhere to be found and that language tells me that they plan on having a LOT to share this year...enough to warrant not one, but FOUR conference calls this year. I like it. I know, time will tell if they pull through but they proved to me that they have the stamina and will to do so therefore I'm not doubting them and their intentions. Again, the addition of LM to the BOD and DP to the executive team speaks volumes to me.

And, I really like backbone in their new boilerplate...

"About NeoMedia Technologies
NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: NEOM) is the global leader in mobile barcode scanning solutions. Our technology allows mobile devices with cameras to read 1D and 2D barcodes and provide “one click” access to mobile content. Combining this technology with advanced analytics and reporting capabilities revolutionizes the way advertisers market to mobile consumers. NeoMedia provides the infrastructure to make 2D camera barcode scanning and its associated commerce easy, universal, and reliable – worldwide.

The company’s mobile phone technology, NeoReader, reads and transmits data from 1-D, and 2-D barcodes to its intended destination. Our Code Management and Code Clearinghouse platforms create, connect, record, and transmit the transactions embedded in the 1-D and 2-D barcodes, like web-URLs, text messages (SMS), and telephone calls, ubiquitously and reliably. NeoMedia provides the industrial and carrier-grade infrastructure to enable reliable, scalable, and billable commerce. To learn more visit www.neom.com and www.neoreader.com.

When you start talking carrier-grade in your boiler plate, people take notice and the true carriers (AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, Qwest, etc.) don't take that lightly because that boiler is aimed SMACK DAB AT THEM. They own the airwaves that NEOM wants to ride and I don't think for a moment they (NEOM) didn't first pass all the necessary qualifications (verified by either certifications or industry expert validation of some sort) before even thinking of placing that type of language in their boiler plate. I will also add, IMO, I strongly believe that reps of at least one or two big carriers have already "toured" this newly built infrastructure for themselves and having done so gave the "wink and nod" to NEOM execs that "it's a go".

I truly do believe that all this time, NEOM was definitely not sitting still and did do everything they needed to get "the bridge" built to withstand not only the scrutiny of the inspectors but also built it strong enough, long enough and wide enough to handle all anticipated traffic...and they're anticipating a LOT of traffic (you, me and everyone here knows that).

A new day has dawned...embrace it! I have. :-)
