ACTC just received $5 million in funding exclusively to file the IND with the FDA for their RPE program. Monies are said to be enough for Phase 1 and 2. This is a process that must be done for human clinical trials. ACTC hopes to file the IND late summer or before year ends. If FDA gives the go ahead on the IND then Phase 1 of trials may begin.
