to paste the story, I forgot to let
you know the preface of the story. LOL
Back in February, Fidelity National Financial
held an AT&T Conference Call so that everyone
involved could ask questions of its management
about anything pertaining to the goings-on with
LandAmerica. They consisted the several corporate
officers with FNF Treasurer Dan Murphy officiating.
What started as a "Blame everyone but us" scenario, the
more people probed into the details, the more FNF starting
evading questions as they started showing FNF was making
some shady moves themselves, and not all of what was on
paper was LFG's doing. At one point, the panel started
refusing to answer any questions further pertaining to their
involvement in LFG's failures.
There is talk on the street FNF may "help" LFG in some
areas financially, keeping themselves in good standing
that they finalized an "intelligent buyout" for all
concerned, instead of a blackmail scheme themselves.
Lets see if FNF cozies up to LFG in the coming weeks.
