Lots of discussion on SI regarding this point.. Has to do with the volatility and futures used to gain 2X... Search poster TRIG on BBR for some insight..

Good ST vehicles... but all 2or 3X funds suffer this.. Note Horizons just opened some new 1X funds.. They've heard a fair bit of heat apparently... USO or DBA or COW same deal not just Horizons
