I don't think the AS# ever dropped. A preferred class of shares was set up causing the confusion. Now they have a Preferred Class of shares and the AS# of common shares went from 2.7B to 3.8B..

The Pref. class may be reading 500MM AS# with 100MM OS#, hard to tell. The transaction/merger was stated to occur with common and preferred shares..
