makes sense, probably was his people that talked with ENCS execs to understand the partnership and what each brings into the partnership. too bad he did not have any info, I guess if he had been a buyer of ENCS, he would have done some DD and would have had a chance to ask for those kinds of details as they hammered the deal out (I would have).
