Because they have better uses of the cash. I have the ability to pay my electric bill 5 years in advance, but that doesn't mean I'm going to do it when I have better uses of my cash.
VBDG is in the process of launching 7 products at once. They will try to negotiate delays in paying everything as long as possible as they need every dollar that they can get their hands on.
Just my opinion, but there is zero default on anything especially since it's convertible into stock, but VBDG has a history of paying down or renegotiating convertibles to avoid any dilution.
