Alpinestars case was dismissed and not withdrawn as Leatt put it. Was curious this week so checked it out.

If you check the public records which can be downloaded via the net you will see that Alpinestars showed that the patent Leatt was using as the basis for infringement was in fact not valid and so caused the case to be dismissed.

So not sure why Leatt put out the press release they did unless it was to cover up their lack of a strong patent to would be other manufactures.
