Sounds like the only thing Lewis is hiding is the names and wages of the ML employees who got TARP bonuses. I'm not thrilled with the reasoning:

"If I tell you who they are and how many millions we pay them, somebody else might offer them more millions and steal them away from us". That doesn't sound like a potential problem to me, it sounds more like a solution. Maybe you can recall the 'retention bonuses' if they quit their jobs.
