It is all anecdotal... but I AM seeing signs of life now in some long dormant issues. We have two whole instances of insiders making decisions in the last few... and I'm trying to build a market rally case out of it... if not in a vacuum.

Maybe look for a spike in acquisition talk next week for something a bit more indicative of what is happening in the broader market as undercurrent right now. If you have the metric tools, it might be useful to have a time dependent measure of the level of Forms 4 being posted to the "latest filings":

Too much noise in what you see on the screen there to make any sense out of it without some major effort in tracking and statistical analysis of it...

I do cruise there randomly to see if I can catch random bits of news early that the market hasn't responded to yet...
