Shorters HATE low volume stock with pending news! They only short those stocks with high volume so they can be sure they can cover if news hits to the benefit of the company. They were keeping the shares volume artifically high to maintain interest but realized after the CC the FDA potential approval could come at any day. Also, I think what also scared them was the CEO mentioning he was in current negotiations with partners on EACH of their drugs they have in the pipeline! Now we are just fooling around with retail because the volume is not large enough for flippers. jmho
