This deal with Honeywell is obviously for Gavitec to upgrade and improve their scanners. Remember, they have a 3 yr contract to help with the Manila Metro Rail Transit System, known as the MRT3, Metrostar, or Metrostar Express. MRT3 is the main public transportation line in Manila with 200 million* passengers each year. NeoMedia's Gavitec agreed to a contract of EUR 1,000,000 (over $1.3 million U.S. dollars) over 3 years. That news was released in Oct 2007. Perhaps an upgrade on scanners would be smart at this point and for Omniprime (which by the way are hiring a lot of people).
