thoughts about a forward split from a expert i asked for his opionion
Forward split? why? That doesn't make any sense...not for a sub penny stock. Let's say you own 100 shares of apple stock at $100. They decide to do a forward split of 2:1. That means for every 1 share you own, you now have 2. But the stock price is cut in half. So now you have 200 shares of apple at $50 instead of 100 at $100. Companies do this when their stock is considered to expensive. It makes no sense for a penny stock to do this since their price is so low. This won't make the company any more money since it applies to shares that were already sold at some point.
