I believe someone posted on this board not too long ago that the initial order from toyota for the torsen was around 2,000 units, with the next being much, much larger. It appears your theory is flawed.

Lesson learned: Torvec should fill any customer order that they can, if they had the cash to do so.

a revenue-producing event such as filling an order of over 1000 units for a major auto mfr. I haven't heard any derisive comments for producing 6 IsoTorques for NASA when their anticipated global production of lunar rovers is what, like 10?
