Yea well, what do you expect when there seems to be no emphasis towards people improving the quality of the work they do. I don't agree with it but one thing I know for certain is this, and I think it should be obvious.
Take a good look around in any and every work place environment your eyes can see, whether its where you work, or just at a restruant, any where! Where there was once a work ethic of doing the most you could, its generally come to the attitude amongst employees of 'Lets see who can do the least and still keep the job'. People are not paid on performance nor terminated from employment based on performance.
The value of our currency is based upon how much work an employee must do to aqcuire that currency.
So while everyone is distracted thinking importance is some where else, there are an increasing number of people starving for work, being forced on the side lines, and an adbundance of people with work, completely taking the position they hold for granted, dragging down production while increasing the number of hours it takes to complete the job, shutting down and ruining business after business.
To me, I can only see this as the biggiest of all problems when it becomes common knowledge and saying "Of course, all the good workers get worked over"

There comes a hefty price to pay when people do not realize that some times their best of friends are the worst of enemies and that applies much more so in our work force.

You don't have to agree but I am certain you can imagine what it would be like working for employers and under management, while you watch favortism run rampant to the point in which, anyone who has ever considered striving, quickly realizes they only appear to be a threat to superiors while superiors are more favorable towards those who will not strive, while being a friend.

My best employees are the ones who typically jump jobs 4-5 times a year. The favortism to the less valuable overvalued employees causes them to quit as they strive for quality, jumping job to job surrounded by people laughing that stand side by side being friends with managment, as the more valuable undervalued employee does the majority of the work and receive no recognition.

Before I hire anyone, I make that person come up with 10 reasons why its important to be continually improving the quality of the work they do.

Until the business world gets the guts to start terminating and replacing underachievers our economy will be nothing but an underachievment in which we will all be forced to pay for.

Forgive any confusion in my communication, I have been in the process of recovering from a stroke induced by prescribed medicine.
