Dia76ca, sure there are several potential things that COULD happen. More than your two elephants. But based on where we are now and what we know now, just assuming that they WILL happen, especially short term, is really taking a big leap.
When has King or anyone other than the people on this board suggested a government anti-viral stockpiling program was iminent? I can understand that based on the current DTRA contract, if everything went well, it's possible that at some point we could get a large manufacturing contract from the government. But, I don't see anything to suggest that it's going to happen anytime soon. They still have several years of research left on the DTRA contract (and that's making the ASSUMPTION that the government signs on for the second half of the deal). Not to say it couldn't happen, but I don't think anyone can say that it's a certainty or even close to it at this point.
#2) IF there is a partnership for Bavi-cancer, that could definitely add to Avid revenues. For that to happen they need to get a partnership soon and need to get to large phase 3 trials. A partnership alone will have a big impact on PPS - more than what any added p3 manufacturing revenues will bring. And talking about BAVI sales in the billions of dollars is WAY out there. Let's crawl before we run. If they show us we can get significant non-dilutitive financing to fund larger phase 3 trials I'll be happy to wait a couple or three years for any sales licensing revenues to come in.
