I called the general information line from qtelevision.com to ask whether comcast (my cable provider) in Portland, Or. would be carrying QTelevision come july so that I could be a subscriber. Believe me or not, I got Frank directly.
He said that an email was going out tonight to make the cable companies aware of their presence. They wanted to be sure themselves that what the cable companies saw was what they(qbid) intended. He says it is and that they are ready. (sounds reasonable IMO) He said that just yesterday he would not have been able to say that.
He also said that the price was 6$ a month "which is nothing... barely the price of a movie..." and that the fee was to prevent any one who did not want the channel from getting it. He said also that I should expect comcast in portland to carry it and that I would notice advertising on the 20th of june. - I guess we'll see
