The number is arbitrary and dependent on drilling, of course. In my mind blocks 2, 3, and 4 have enough oil to be valued at $7'ish a share. I can't accept a premium higher than 50% for a buyout, so the math is Addax offers $5, and then Exxon eats them for a 50% premium.
