It's a pink- whenever they want they can release the news. I worked for Major NYSE companies(whoops I let a little out of the bag which I never do about me personally- maybe this post will get lost in the sea of post) and we held back news. You can always justify the delay by saying oh we needed to iron out a few more details before making it public.
