I4C6S, good points, but there must be some reason the KDS isn't being utilized. Is it the moisture content of the feed material? If it varies a lot, does that screw up the KDS for continuous operation? Disposal of the waste water from the KDS? In a heat-type drier I think the water vapor is fairly inocuous when condensed. Maybe it just that the KDS does not have enough operational history to answer all the customer questions. Plus in an operation of that size, I'm sure the proven history of the equipment suppliers is an important consideration if only from a liability standpoint.
