My angle on base metals at this point has been the juniors that have exposure to silver, like a CZICF, FRLLF, GPRLF (more silver obviously), MMG would be another. If I HAD to own base metals, I'd prefer a CZN.TO (CZICF), that is trading for LESS than cash and is not producing (I'm sure they will start their mine just after prices begin to truly rebound .. they are wisely hibernating...).

I'm not excited about the big base metals yet, gold has my attention.

However, I'm very fond of TCK and IVN. Short-term, I'm not expecting much out of them. Yes they are cheap, that's for sure. But I think they have more downside work to go. It's returned to ~4 from where it broke out & hit 7.50. If it were strong, it would not nearly have pulled back that much. I'd expect sideways/down for a bit yet. Ugly island top short-term. I'd take IVN before TCK .. like both tho as I said.

Watch that $4 level on TCK...
