Surprise! My Goodness, who'd of thunk it?
LOL, I guess these guys did. This was not news I was expecting, and from an investor's POV, I see this as another feather in Cyclone's cap. A feather that can lead us closer to making money:
According to RTI, the EATR demonstration project can lead to three potential commercialization projects: (1) the development of prototype and operational EATR systems for military and civil applications; (2) new civil and military applications for the autonomous intelligent control system; and, most relevant for Cyclone, (3) development of the hybrid external combustion engine system for civil and military automotive applications, whether for manned or unmanned vehicles.
I wish we knew how much they were paying for phase I and II, but it's good to know they are paying up front for this developmental work. That means that it is self financing, and no need for CPT to raise funds for these projects. No spec work anymore: definitely a step in the right direction.
