No, I think you are right on the money. I can speak from personal experience, that anyone looking to buy a business request any and all relevant financial documentation. Im speaking from experience with my parents selling their small business. They are selling a profitable, small retail business. Theres no inventions or breakthroughs, just steady business and increasing profits as they increase their regional marketshare. After discussing a price for goodwill and inventory, the very next call came from a CPA requesting the books.

Unless Alli got bored one Saturday, then yes, I see this as being very good news! Who would invest the time or money to do something like this unless they saw fruits in it. But then again, Alli probably didn't have to invest much capital into this, as his name was probably his goodwill payment to Jared. I just find it wierd that there has been no financials released. I hope to God Drifter is dead on right! It just makes me wonder ya know??

Not drifter or purdue, but you can rest assured that any successful busisness owner, especially ones with the clout in the Asian market as the Lee's have, would never enter into busisness dealings without carefully doing there homework on the company that will supply their products.
