I agree that the location of this horizontal drilling project by Hemi located on the Silvey lease is located in a very prime oil SEK area of Woodson County surround by some very favorable features and productive lease sites.
One will note that this lease site, the Silvey has the Bennett lease site boarding the east (check out the old data records on the oil production from the Bennett), the Hemi Reno boarding to the north and Hemi Tebbins to the west. Both Hemi Reno and Tebbins are current good producers for Hemi.
In addition Owl Creek flows across and to the south of the Hemi Silvey lease, thus creekology. If I recall there was a good piece on creekology discussed on this board back in June and July, not quite "definitive report" material...LOL, but pretty good on the DD, insight and opinion side of the equation of information.
IMO now that the KCC has granted Hemi formal application approval, my expectation is for an immediate NOI by Hemi that will become record by the KCC.
I expect to see validation of this Hemi NOI by early next week posted on the KCC site with a spud date inside 30 days noted........
Why????
Because IMO Hemi is not playing games or sitting back given the scope, preparation, magnitude and potential of such a drilling project.
Ohh and IMO I would not be surprised to see a "Tight Status" too on this horizontal drilling project.
