I agree.

Partnership is 50/50. Even if the company drew up a "wish list" of what stores they would like their products to be in and requested for each shareholder to call and request the product. That would be a start......

829, you may be right. Did yet another general search on our CEO-at-large & found this statement from a Sept. 30th release:

Rodrigo Makarios, President of Bebida Beverage Company, stated, “Growth in sales will be driven not by orders from retailers and distributors, but rather from consumer demand for our products. Getting our products placed into the retail marketplace is wonderful, however, long lasting success of our products will be driven by consumer demand.”

“The next step toward success will be to create strong brand awareness so that consumers meet us half way by actually looking for our products on retail shelves. The company will soon announce the first of several marketing efforts aimed at creating strong brand awareness within the targeted consumer market for Piranha Spring Water.”

First, he wasn't kidding around when he said sales won't be driven by retail & distribution orders!

So it's a brand awareness campaign to be followed by...the other "half" of the equation he referred to in meeting the customer 'half way.' If he meant the egg has to come before the chicken, fine. But at some point in time the chicken still needs to make an appearance, no?
