I just looked at the price per share out of random wonderment.. I remember it being .0000 and now it says a new name and is much higher.. I cheered and planned on finally buying a home.. Then I go to sell all my close to 4 mil shares and the etrade thing was like.. you don't have that many.. so I was like wtf happened to all of my shares?! I call them up.. they say it did a reverse split and now I have 75 shares and its worth a total of 6 dollars or some crap?! WTF HAPPENED?! If I sold at .0001 I would have made way more than 6 dollars.
I am severely angered now and want to punch this company in the face repeatedly!
How does a reverse split mean I now can make less from selling my shares? That makes no sense to me. Can anyone help me understand this a little better?
