Hi Bee,
And here are my opinions and FYI:)
And you thought I went to the NFDA in Orlando for a Vacation!!:) I do hope I get the Gold Star for traveling over 1200 miles, taking a full week off from work(NH), and immersing myself into the funerary displays for 4 days and 18 solid hours!!:)
This was my DD as an Open Believer of EI and ETNL, and as I have mentioned, I leave the trekkie stuff to the others on this Board:)
So I see the Hubbub that has been on ETNL IHub since Friday and the 8-K, form filing, reporting to the SEC, announcing, "whatever" you would like to call it!!:) But please don't call it a PR:)
So as a dedicated Investor in ETNL, and one, that with my immersion in Orlando, developed a few professional relationships in my travels.
The 8-K, and tomorrow "maybe" ETNL'S final day, the darkest day or hours for this Final Frontier company?? Maybe on the "trekkie" side, But for me, I needed an "explanation/clarification/update" from the Industry side. They should go together, right??
My source?? Let's just say that he a friend, and we'll call him TF:) I needed some "positive reinforcement", and this is what I got from a Saturday conversation with my friend TF.
As we speak, there is a (255) MLB Casket Order, of which 70-80 Caskets have been shipped already. Along with these orders is a nice brochure with a personal letter from TF. This Large Order looks to be "fulfillment orders" from EI. TF comments that finally the product is being shipped, exposure is being made, and the customers are getting what they have been longing for. Each day, 7-8 MLB Caskets are being manufactured.
TF also commented that the Red Sox MLB Casket seems to be doing extremely well as an order for (12) was recently shipped out to Quality Vault company in the Boston area:) It also looks like TF is in the final stages in being able to manufacture EI's MLB Urns also.
I asked TF how things were going for his company in the funerary business. He informed me that the month of Dec. 2008 was the best he's had in four years, and January 2009 looks even better. TF has 10-15 of his own Distributors who they do business with. It seems like EI is in good hands on the manufacturing side of their products:)
I mentioned to TF about companies such as TANTARA, WILBERT VAULTS, and CHURCH & CHAPEL METAL ARTS ,and agreements with EI. TF was very positive about these agreements. "Wilbert, you can't get any bigger than that!! Just like a Batesville. The more Distributors the better:)
I got the answer I was looking for from TF:)
Yours Always in Eternal Faith,
Heppie:)
