C6'S...The heat exchanger probably would not work simply because any of the air in the chamber or the cyclone will have material suspended in it at all times....heat exchangers normaly have fins for the air to pass through....clogging/abrasive wear would result.

I am guessing...would it be advantageous to heat the cyclone if it were not feasable to transfer heat from the chamber to the cyclone?

In any event, from what you mentioned, it would seem to be an advantage for water removal for the cyclone to be maintained at a temperature matching the chamber
