Nice theatrics (can anyone talking to anyone be verified) almost sounds like a drug deal in a movie; the only problem is that Ameritrade does not confirm, set, assign dividend payment dates. From what I have learned the Company submits its request to FINRA and after FINRA review it is forwarded to NASDAQ who sets the appropriate dates. The kind lady who explained the process to me is Ms. Fainer and she is in the NASDAQ CT office.
