This is from that PR about the MacFarlane connection to Dussault:

Fitzgerald states, “DUSSAULT is a cutting edge, forward thinking apparel company and I am very excited to work side by side with creative mastermind Jason Dussault. For the past twenty years I have been partnered with Todd McFarlane, the world's most widely known and number one selling comic book artist and privately owned toy company owner. Together we expanded the company from two employees to well over 150, and turned a single monthly comic book into a conglomerate of companies producing action figures, multi-line comic books, property licensing and entertainment projects. I enjoyed the challenge of the expansion and helping grow the company into the nine figure retail earner that it is today. In Jason I see the same drive, energy, creative inventiveness and determination to own the world. To have the opportunity to build another dynasty from the ground up is very exciting to me. I have no doubt we will have DUSSAULT stores in all the major metro areas around the world, and our clothing on the truly fashion conscious.”

Thanks Sidney...

This is from an OLDER 2007 posting, but still it shows the development of the original idea of the company, until now, and his appreciation of McFarlane, etc.

Link: http://www.dussaultapparel.com/docs/jan02_07.pdf

(excerpt) ...Dussault told them he just had to meet his hero, McFarlane, so Prevail arranged an introduction in Phoenix, A connection was made, NowMcFarlane will be doing exclusive graphic designs for Deuce clothing, He has created a new character based on Dussault and his car, Thecharacter is "Deuce the Destroyer" and his car, The Preacher, willappear in Spawn.

McFarlane's right-hand man, Terry Fitzgerald, has come onto Deuce'sboard of directors. He happens to be a big fan. He was wearing aDeuce hoodie and jeans when he walked down the red carpet at the lastGrammy award ceremonies, The connections continue.

McFarlane and Fitzgerald have put Dussault intouch with Kid Rock and Gene Simmons of the heavy metal band KISS.They, too, will soon be wearing Deuce clothes. When we met, Dussault had just returned from a trip to Los Angelesand a meeting with Simmons. "We sat in his home in Beverly Hills fortwo and a half hours, We had this instant connection."

Through it all,Dussault hopes to grow in the U.S. and get involved with a newtelevision channel called No Good TV in which big stars say bad thingson the satellite-only station.

Despite his steep prices, the 33-year-old Dussault can't produce enoughto keep up with demand. His least expensive hoodie retails for around$300. His men's Christmas jeans packaged in a wooden box retail for$279, which he claims is $100 off the regular price. Dussault sees clothes designing as a collaborative process.

...There are more sides to Dussault than first meet the eye, His real dayjob is as an investor, a line of work he got into early on in life when hehelped put together investors for a highly successful diamond mine inthe Northwest Territories. With two kids to support from a firstmarriage and a second marriage in the works to fiance Mashiah Vaugh,he is sticking with his day job until Deuce becomes big enough so hecan fly on his own.

(my comments now...two kids and an ex-wife...he's got bills to pay...so he's gonna work hard at it (kidding)).
