A new "friend" who's very knowledgeable in SEC laws, showed me this site that's filled with a lot of good information:

I just bought the reference book, "Fundamentals of Securities Regulation" and would recommend it to anyone that's an IRP (that wishes to be compliant). It's rather expensive $200 but IMO worth the price.

I also bought a cheaper book (and much smaller) called, "Securities Law" by Larry D Soderquist. Which is around $35.

Question about the "Sponsered News" on the homepage.

I see the following disclamier:

My understanding is the amount paid has to be disclosed as well correct?
