Well yes it makes it alot easier but you would at least need to have the "Extra" level of membership where you can save the annotated charts. Then just post the same as any other chart per instructions in the IBox.
Free and Basic level members can use the annotation tool but can't save the charts. Thus they have to take a screen shot of the chart in the Java window, save it, then upload it to IHUB then embed that URL link as if it was a chart, same as above. I recommend the free "Gadwin" program for taking screen shots, you can select only the chart and not your whole screen.
You say you are getting the "Red X", not sure what you are doing, please explain your process in detail and a link to a post with the red X and I'll see if I can figure it out.
