Paul, the Market Demons lurk within everyone, and everyone has to wrestle with them constantly. One of mine won today. I was long lexr below 10 and not happy with how it was trading. I kept putting off selling it for the small loss and it gapped down 1.4 today on a surprise bad quarter warning. It was in my long term account so theoretically I have half an excuse but really excuses are just another Demon. Lesson: Don't hold poorly performing stocks and hope they miraculously grow wings and fly.
IMO, one either conquers the Market Demons within or they conquer you. Since 80-90% of retail investors and >90% of wannabe daytraders lose money over time in the stock market, guess who wins most of the time <g/ng>Best I can say is that mine are winning less and less often.
