blauboad, perhaps a smooth 90nm launch will provide enough volume. I suspect that Sempron will be the fab candidate while AMD keeps Athlon64, Opteron in-house.

I would think that fab capacity is still a big issue for Dell. Maybe that changes if/when IBM starts fabbing for AMD.

If IBM fabs K8 then it may simply be Opterons for internal manufacturing. There are lots of fab possibilities in the world, and we have so little information about what is going on!

Only for the desktop. How many processors would Dell need a guarantee on for servers? 10k? Probably less. Those aren't numbers that AMD would have problems with...
