The last paragraph of your article is absolutely spot on! This will trigger the sort of legislation (think SOX) that will do nothing but hamper the ability of legitimate small-cap companies out there rather than put a magnifying glass on the circus of idiot drones behing hired by the SEC only to go through the motions!
