upc, from what I've seen, the rumors state that the bug is in the ICH6R, and it's only when booting from the RAID devices.

For one thing, not every Grantsdale chipset ships with ICH6R. Secondly, the launch was a few days ago, so there is not likely many volumes of chipsets out there. Worst case, this could cost Intel a few million in recall costs. Good case, all this can be fixed with a BIOS or driver update. Best case, the rumor isn't true in the first place. ;-)
