placer miners up here do that all the time.they take samples and if they think it's worth it they'll haul in the equipment and give-er.i know a guy about 3 miles away from where i live that pulls out $50,000 in gold every summer!summer only lasts about 4 months up here and thats on a 100mx500m claim.300'x1500' in american.he's been working his claim for the last 10 yrs.not too bad huh?
