OT: The other thing that is positively maddening is having a good income, paying your bills on time EVERY month, but if you have balances that you carry, your credit score is significantly LESS than someone who HAS filed Banko within the last 6 months to a year. And even worse, those same credit card companies who are writing off those losses are issuing low rates and new cards to those exact same customers who ran it up the first time.

I just signed up for one of those programs where they will automatically draft a payment each week or bi-weekly as your paychecks fall so that you end up paying extra principle on your house. I know I could do that myself, but it is comforting to also not have one bigger amount I have to come up with once a month and attempt to squeeze in extra to boot. I'm paying it all off and I will never be slave to a bank again.

If Forex would play along, it will be that much faster too.....

Actually most student loans are a good kind of debt too. Most have low interest rates and the interest is tax deductable.

Yeah I have a few minor loans, they don't start incurring interested until 2010
