Of course I hear ya w/re to bein short the dollar in genl...u know me....it's that after lookin at the turtle & seeing the support @ 92 & w/the bailout news pending....I think it's a decent risk/reward to be long the turtle here.....& yes, that's all I am lookin for...the quick pop.....50-60 tops & I'm out. & frankly, I think it can easily do that w/out any bailout news....it just looks so oversold right now.....but of course I agree in that the longer term trend is lookin south.
This is the beauty of 4x.....u can scalp one direction w/a short term strat & always be lookin to nibble for the longer term positions to the other direction should the opp present itself.
OK....guess I should now be tellin ya ta be on the watch for any possible edits from me w/in the 15 min window...bein that I got me 2 posts left w/7+ hrs ta go :0
EDIT: agreed w/re to the stop loss topic....most of us dream of the day when we are loaded w/the proper ammo....at least to the point where we can afford to play w/mental stops....hard ta lose in 4x when you have a bank of at least 10-15K.
On the Oanda demo comps where u begin w/50K....I've never run out of money....in fact I've never lost money either....& all w/mental stops. Like Jerle says....just dont over trade yourself & leave plenty of room for adding to a position should you find yourself down a considerable chunk....the majority of the time that position will come back for ya....jus a matter of time is all.
But as far as the under cap'd acct goes....that's a big no no playin that way....& especially for a Newbie. Indeed....very important to make sure u r playin under the proper guidelines that match your acct & risk tolerance.....rule #1.
Happy ta have a few standard's around her now....love hearin how fairly e z it all is when ya have the kinda ammo....some day.
Edit 2: Nettles.....again....jus lookin for a few..not many...which is why I drew a conservative fib....just grabbed me another lot of it & now they're both up a few pips...will play it very conservative....especially bein that I'm now over extended with it...lol
