My concern as well. I don't want us to make the expectation of a "major development" so high that we end up disappointed with the announcement.
On the other hand, Jim's announcement does foster the belief that this announcement will have a significant impact - a "watershed" event. My take on a watershed event is one that will have a positive and lasting impact on the share price. Given the way he has rolled recent pricing into the Update, I don't think it unreasonable for shareholders to expect something that will have lasting 'kick'.
I find the CEO update very imformative and you can draw your own conclusions... but i do think it is clear they would love to buy more of the company back if they were allowed and there should be no confusion about that.

buy TOVC...especially if you are short...by the way, if you are short or sold recently its gonna really burn if you miss this thing trading up. all these years and in the worst market ever the company does a deal. ouch !
