Too funny Jonesie. Great post! But don't forget, the PR's ALWAYS talked about that "big" production in terms of production "capacity", which really means, their facilities and tanks can handle that much production IF the wells could produce that much. And the infamous oil sales contract with Conoco was also very transparent for the industry savvy investor. It just says that Conoco will buy no more than 2,000 BOPD of that tar crap, IF TIV ever produces that much.
Yes, I think these PR's really need to be examined by a professional to see if they really did cover themselves enough with their slick safe harbor wording, using boed's instead of bopd's, using production capacity instead of just actual production, using short term tests on one day to make it sound like its doing that 24 hours per day on a daily basis, etc.
Even I got suckered in by those glorious PR's thinking Lynn really did have something "big" and kept buying as the share price went in the tank. I sure didn't think it was all hogwash, which it sure looks like its turning out to be considering the total lack tangible results anywhere close to what was touted in PR's. Just my opinion...
