I certainly agree. As I mentioned, I worked with startup companies. Probably the biggest single event separating the wheat from the chaff is actual sales. First sales are a really, really big deal.

On that note, can you guess why investors only got a rosy press release about the CEO's recent trip and his optimism and not one single word indicating how sales were doing? The press release certainly was leading investors to hope/believe that was the case but be careful when CEO's dance with wording but never directly say anything. Press releases are usually obfuscated on purpose when companies want to make investors believe something materially different than fact.
