Ameritrade told me about two weeks,but could be longer to get certs. No charge because I am Apex member(trade alot). Each broker is different.
You are right, if the stock runs and you want to sell you will not be able to until they are back in your account and run would be over. Would not suggest anyone take possession of certs for their whole position in this company.JMHO
