If there is a big run up. The run may be to just a few cents higher than the dividend price. Why sell at all if that is the case? Get the dividend and hold on to the stock for better things to come.

I'm with RD, I've never been part of a run and curious to hear the type of strategies people will be using to know when to sell.

From my limited view, since we don't know the NSS position, it will be hard to determine where to sell at. But that's just based off my limited experience.

Each investor must decide at what price they will sell. Asking for advice is okay, but we each are responsible for our own investment decisions. IMO If you sell after the press release you will make a profit. I always am happy to make a profit and try not to look back or say "but it could have been more". It also could have been a loss that wiped me out. If you want sell small portions of your holdings on the way up instead of trying to get the highest price for them all. If too many sell hundreds of thousands or millons of shares early it will kill the run.
