Yeah, it's called excuses. what excuse has the DTCC? This
is the billion dollar question I want answered. (The
real reason we all know, but what is the excuse, in writing?
Or before a jury of our peers in a court of law.

Smart_Quasi:

I expect nothing from either DTCC/SEC or Megas for their incompetence. As I have said many times, the DTCC was at fault for the lack of due diligence. This has not changed. But what you and the others in your camp seem to not want to acknowledge is the "fact" that Megas delayed reporting the identity theft. Megas did admit he was taken in by Pino's victim story, but did not execute the agreed $2 million dollar buyout of BCIT in writing for Megas to not report it publicly. Not only that, if this was truly a sale, why didn't Megas report it as income for sale of property? This was the right thing to do to notify the shareholders, oh I forgot, the fake shareholders that BCIT was up for sale. Too many unanswered questions surround this issue?

Yes, I am all for DTCC/SEC being accountable, but I also hold Megas at the same level as it was his failure to report the initial crime that caused more people to get sucked into the whole mess in July and August.

Since I have acknowledged the fact DTCC/SEC is responsible to provide an account of their failure, will you at least man-up to the fact Megas needed to accept responsibility for his failure. Two wrongs do not make a right. In this case, the second wrong caused more damage than the first. But the fact is, both parties performed in their own best interest.
