If the Feds can't afford to bailout both FNM and FRE, which one will they try and save and which one will they let fail? FNM is the older one of the two.

It's not always that way, but right now the pps and volume is runnung higher because the conservator said he would consider an R/S if the investors/traders didn't get the pps back above 1.00.
